Reformation Day

Before I post the second part of "The Long Hard Road," I thought I would share with all of you a tradition that my family does on October 31st. We celebrate "Reformation Day."

On October 31st, 1517, Martin Luther posted his 95 thesis, the picture on the bottom, sparking the Reformation. These "thesis" were complaints about certain Roman Catholic practices that were not Biblical. (Here is a link to see the 95 thesis).

My family will typically try to do something in remembrance of this. For several years we watched the movie "Luther" starring Joseph Fiennes. One year my mom made the "Diet of Worms" (Chocolate pudding with gummy worms). Last night we had German food. It is always pretty fun.
